ABOUT ME

My name is Steven Velasquez. I live in Queens, New York and I've been a freelance Photographer and Videographer since 2010. I enjoy all types of photography including fashion, wedding, maternity, sweet-16's and moree. I also have a great affinity for the moving image as well particularly in music video production of all types and genres.

 

MY STYLE

I consider myself an artistic Photographer & Videographer. I love experimenting with interesting angles and creative lighting. I'm not shy about using shadows and colored light to create different moods or feels. A shoot with me will consist of music, laughter and of course some great pictures and/or video.

TECHNICAL STUFF

I'm a Canon guy! I began my career with Nikon which I actually loved for photography, however as I branched off into videography I found myself being limited by Nikon's video capabilities. I have various lenses, speed lights, light modifiers, etc. I have my own professional photo studio equipped with a Manfrotto backdrop system including various color backdrops, Paul C. Buff monolights with soft boxes and various light modifiers to create excellent soft light. I own both a Canon 6D and Canon 70D which are both two of Canon's latest amazing full and cropped frame cameras respectively.
